By way of introductions, I’m Haley McKinley — A PNW creative, living in Edmonds, WA with my husband, our toddler and two large dogs. Having lived a lot of life in the past 30 years, I’ve been able to hone in on my passion for interior design and all things home related. My love for interiors dates back to being a small child, asking for “room re-dos” as my birthday present almost every year. I’d scour the pages of the PB Kids/Teen catalogs and circle everything I loved. Growing older, and moving from college houses in downtown Seattle to tiny apartments in NYC, I learned how to shape my style on a very limited budget. This has helped me to learn, and appreciate, the value of thrifting and all things beautifully vintage. Projects I love include staging homes for real estate agents, curating themes and furnishing successful Airbnb properties , partnering with property developers to design single family homes, townhomes and beyond, and consulting on interior renovation projects. My greatest thrills come from sharing project proposals with clients and molding their feedback into a finished product. My aesthetic can be described as Modern Vintage— I love mixing old with new in unusual ways. Pairing objects that are untraditional with pieces that are comfortable. I don’t believe you need to spend a fortune on brand new everything to attain a beautiful space. Thrifting and sourcing uniques pieces is something I take pride in doing well for my clients— I love a good deal as much as the next person after all.
